    Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and supporting a team that makes a real difference? Hopeworx is looking for a

    Project Assistantto join our Furniture Store team.

    As a Project Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for customers, supporting project administration, and helping us promote our services locally and online. You’ll assist with everything from responding to enquiries and processing donations to training volunteers and ensuring our displays look their best.

    What you’ll do:
    • Respond to phone calls and emails professionally and promptly
    • Support the Project Manager in maximising Gift Aid
    • Help display goods and maintain a tidy, safe shop environment
    • Assist with volunteer onboarding and training
    • Research and price stock
    • Process donations and book collections/deliveries
    • Promote the centre via social media and websites
    • Carry out general administrative tasks
    • Support requests for help within the centre, including food parcels
    What we’re looking for:
    • Strong customer service and admin experience
    • Good level of English and Maths
    • IT skills and familiarity with retail systems
    • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
    • Empathy with our ethos and interest in reuse/recycling
    • Experience handling cash (desirable)
