Bede's Trust requires an experienced and proactive individual to join our Facilities and Maintenance Department as a Housekeeping Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the cleaning and upkeep of both the Senior and the Prep School. This role ensures exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic appeal, directly impacting Pupil, Staff and Visitor satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the overall reputation of the Trust. The Manager leads, develops, and manages the housekeeping team, implements best practices, and manages resources effectively.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can easily problem solve, provide clear leadership and direction, has strong communication skills and fantastic attention to detail. They must obtain a positive working attitude even under pressure.
Previous work history in a similar environment is highly desirable plus a relevant Level 3 to 5 Cleaning Management/Supervision qualification/course is essential.
The role will be based mainly at our Senior School with travel to our Prep School in Eastbourne.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position, working 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year from 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday, this includes a 30 minute unpaid break.
