Job summary

Kent Music is seeking a dynamic brass teacher to join our team, from April 2026. You will have the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings including, 1-1, small group, whole class, and ensemble teaching in local schools and music centres across Dartford, Gravesham and Maidstone, and Medway. The role includes teaching on Wednesday evenings at Gravesham Music Centre.

  • Job Title: Teacher – Brass
  • Location: Dartford, Gravesham, Maidstone and Medway areas
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Salaried Teaching Hours: between 379.5 and 569.25 hours per year (approx. 11.5 to 17.25 hours per week)
  • Fraction: 0.4 – 0.6 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties
  • Salary: £27,233.04 to £33,154.79 pro rata, per annum
