The Extracare Charitable Trust are recruiting an Business Analyst (Connect Programme) on a Full Time , Fixed Term Contract (12 Months), based at our Head office in Binley, Coventry
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Connect Programme team (implementation of a new digital housing management system across the Charity). This is a pivotal role in supporting ExtraCare’s mission to deliver its digital strategy and improve ways of working across the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders and project teams to understand business needs, translate them into actionable requirements, and recommend solutions that drive efficiency and align with our strategic goals.

Role Details
- Position: Business Analyst (Connect Programme)
- Hours: 37.50hrs per week (Fixed Term - 12 Months)
- Salary: £45,000 per annum
- Location: Binley Business Park, Binley, Coventry, CV3 2SN

What will you do as our Business Analyst (Connect Programme)?
- Gather and analyse business requirements from multiple stakeholders, ensuring clarity and prioritisation.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and functional requirements for delivery teams.
- Produce end-to-end business process models (As-Is, To-Be, and transitional states).
- Identify risks in current and proposed IT systems and recommend improvements.
- Facilitate discussions between IT and other departments to ensure alignment.
- Develop change management proposals and support implementation.
- Create training materials and documentation to support new processes.
- Contribute to standards and best practices for digital ways of working
Our ideal Business Analyst (Connect Programme) will have:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within digital transformation or IT projects. Knowledge of housing an advantage but not essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex requirements.
- Experience in business process modelling and requirements gathering.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of IT systems and digital strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project and programme managers.
