About Us:

The Victory Services Club (VSC) is a successful charity which provides membership services to serving & retired
members of the UK Armed Forces, NATO, Commonwealth, and their families. The Club, which is close to Marble
Arch, has 200 bedrooms, extensive dining facilities, and seven Event Rooms which are available for Club members.
Our Event Rooms are hired to generate revenue for the charity. The Club operates a number of schemes to provide
free breaks for serving members of the Armed Forces.  We currently have fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic
chef.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Banqueting Kitchen and Events section. This is a hands on
role where you will be expected to be organised and take responsibility for your area.  We are looking for proactive
forward-thinking ambitious chef who will perform consistently in line with the Club's high standards. In quiet periods
you will work in our grill restaurant Working 5 days out of 7 with paid overtime.

The Person

The successful candidates must have excellent food production and presentation skills and an all-round knowledge
of events. We are seeking chefs who can organise effectively and be able to work quickly with a level head when
under pressure. Experience in a similar role/ Hotel/Club is an advantage. Good knowledge of Health & Safety and
Food Hygiene is of importance. Fine dining experience would also be preferable as would knowledge of the pastry
section. You must be fluent in English and have the right to work in the UK.
