Structure
This course has been designed to be delivered in person to participants and combines self-study and group mentoring. All of the training is accessed via our cloud-based learning platform, no special software or equipment is required to participate.
The theory elements of this training are delivered through a series of pre-recorded video tutorials that participants can watch at a time that suits them. At the end of each tutorial participants are required to complete written and practical assignments for discussion at their cohort’s group mentoring session. The assignments include incorporating specific activities into their upcoming sessions and participants will need to record these sessions.
The group mentoring sessions are an opportunity for participants to share and reflect on their experiences putting theory into practice in a secure environment and to receive coaching and guidance for further development from their course tutor.
At the end of the course, participants are required to complete a final written and video assignment. Participants who successfully pass the final assessment will be eligible to undertake our advanced training if they wish to.
