Job Summary
The Partnerships Manager, East Africa will be responsible for strengthening partnerships at a national and regional level, specifically across East Africa. The Manager will also be responsible for capacity building within the region, as well as monitoring and ensuring the quality of the implementation of Biblica’s programs.

This is a remote working position, based in Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Stock management and inventory oversight (this role will be responsible for overseeing, monitoring, and managing Scripture stocks, ensuring accurate records, timely replenishment, and proper accountability for all incoming and outgoing resources).
- Plan, strategize and implement partnership engagements and programs.
- Engage with strategic partners , ensuring partners’ needs are served and in line with Biblica’s strategic plans.
- Work in close partnership with existing and new partners of Biblica to oversee and translate programs by ensuring key outputs and outcomes are achieved.
- Maintain relationships with churches, ministries and organizations as well as individuals in line with Biblica’s strategic plan.
- Develop new partnerships for the distribution of Bibles, derivatives and training.
- Support the development and smooth running of Biblica’s programs, liaising with regional and global colleagues as needed.
- Provide support, mentoring and coaching to colleagues and partners by identifying ministry development skills and knowledge gaps, encouraging growth within the organization and the development of programs among partners.
- Prepare training manuals, contextualize existing materials, execute trainings to children, youth and adults across the region.
- Work alongside the Regional Director (RD) and in close partnership with other staff locally and internationally to implement Biblica’s operational action plans and to provide timely reporting as required.
- Track and monitor budgets as required.
- Plan publishing needs, monitor processes and oversee delivery and distribution of Biblica products.
- Ensure partner records on Salesforce are up to date including completing and updating the semi-annual Partnership Evaluation Scoring Tool.
- Hold regular meetings with strategic partners to discuss their needs and current trajectory.
- Provide written and verbal reports for leadership as required.

- Proven ability to prioritize, work independently, meet multiple tight deadlines.
Education and Experience
- A Degree in Theology, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience in partnership and program management.
- Knowledge and experience of children and youth ministry.
- Previous experience working for a Christian non-profit preferred.
- Previous or current church leadership experience desirable.
Physical Requirements
- Able to work remotely with minimal supervision.
- Current driving license and willingness to drive office van as and when required.
- Ability to travel to various locations locally, regionally and occasionally globally.
- The ability for up to 40% overnight travel.
Competencies
- Strong personal commitment to Christ and Biblica’s Purpose, Mission and Statement of Faith, with no personal or professional conflicts with the Christian philosophy of Biblica.
- Strong love and passion for the Bible and a desire to see people engage with it.
- Advanced MS Office proficiency; knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce an added advantage.
- Ability to drive and monitor project timelines.
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload in a self-sufficient manner.
- Experience in budget planning and monitoring.
- Demonstrable experience in managing administrative and operational functions and processes.
- Experience in fundraising and resource mobilization an added advantage
Salary/Hours/Benefits
- Salary range: In line with global salary scales, and determined by qualifications and experience.
- Grade Level: Manager (Grade 400)
