Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Medical and Emergency Care collaborative as a Ward Manager.
We are looking for talented, motivated professional senior nurse, preferable in a clinical sister’s position at present, although not essential, who is able to demonstrate strong leadership and managerial skills within the clinical setting. As the Manager you will be pivotal in leading the team in the delivery of enhanced holistic services and standards of care to our patients aligned to the STAQC principles.

Main duties of the job
As an integral part of the managerial team you will be expected to demonstrate exceptionally diverse communication skills. Have an aptitude for people management and the professional competence to make informed decisions to effectively manage operational and clinical incidents, staffing issues and effective bed utilisation throughout the directorate.
