Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre has been producing high quality, accessible theatre for over 18 years. We present real Liverpool lives
on stage and celebrate all that is good about Liverpool’s rich culture. We became an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation in
2018. The theatre is one of the largest producing theatres in the North of England and we are proud to be recognised as successfully
engaging non-theatre audiences and participants from some of the most deprived social and economic areas of the UK.

Reporting to: Marketing Manager

Location: Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre, 1 Roe Street,
Liverpool, L1 1HL

Contract: Permanent, 16 hours per week

Starting Salary: £26,000 per annum pro-rata

Hours: 16hrs per week, 2 day per week, including some
weekend and evening work to attend New CourtYard and
capture content

Collaboration
Work with the wider marketing team to align social media
efforts with overall business goals. Work with the Graphic
Designer & Brand Manager and Social Media & Design Exec
to ensure that New CourtYard (NCY) appears in the best light
in all situations

Social media strategy
Assist in the development of social media strategies and
staying up-to-date with best practice and trends

Platform management
Maintaining a consistent brand voice and managing content
across our social media platforms

Social media planning
Plan activity so that in each week or month social media
activity is mapped out and covers the various aspects of NCY
including the bar, menu, food and drink, music, live acts,
offers, promotions and general awareness

Capture content for NCY
Including daytime and evening activity to ensure NCY can be
represented professionally and accurately online and to raise
awareness of NCY

Schedule content
Ensure that NCY has a consistent and engaging stream of
content on all aspects of Instagram – reels, stories, posts and
video content and TiKTok

Community engagement
Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages,
and foster a positive online community on Instagram,
Facebook and TiKTok

Social media advertising
Develop NCY marketing objectives and set targets with the
marketing team. Understand the target market for NCY, set
up appropriate targeting and boost posts and advertise
appropriately on social channels to fulfil marketing objectives.

Budget Management
Manage the social media budgets for advertising and
promotions.

Performance analysis
Track key metrics (engagement, reach, website traffic) and
reporting on campaign performance.

Create, edit and curate content
Create engaging content to convey the energy and
atmosphere of NCY and inform customers about artists acts
and performers

Content Strategy - Adept at creating plans that tie in and contribute towards the wider marketing strategy.

Social Media Management - Understanding how to use different social media platforms to engage an audience. Managing
those platforms and collaborating with the wider marketing team.

• Organised - Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Video and Photo Editing - Skilled at creating and editing visual content for platforms like YouTube and Instagram.

Creativity - The ability to develop content to engage audiences including thinking of storylines, writing engaging copy and
bringing it to life.

• Graphic design - The ability to use software such as Photoshop or Canva to  manipulate images and creating graphics to

enhance content.

future activity.
