Senior Philanthropy Manager in Fundraising, will focus and lead on:

• Drive growth across philanthropy, personally working with donors to create impact for our communities
• Motivating a philanthropy team to achieve their goals
• Developing compelling propositions based on RNID’s ambitious strategy and clear theories of change

High Value income at RNID is set to double this year compared to three years ago, we are a sector outlier. You will be responsible for continuing this growth trajectory in the Trusts and Major Donor income programmes.

You will work closely with the Head of High Value and the Director of Fundraising on the philanthropy strategy and personally lead six figure multi-year gift opportunities. You will lead a team of 5 people, directly line managing 3, to achieve their income and activity plans.

What you will be doing 

You will:

• Proactively build new relationships and effectively stewarding existing ones.

• Deliver high-quality impact reporting to donors

• Maintain a robust pipeline of philanthropy prospects to ensure ongoing growth.

• Support the Head of High Value in setting budgets and conducting regular reforecasting.

• Provide direct line management to four staff members.

You 

You will be proactive and driven, ambitious to further grow the philanthropy programme and excited to work in a small, fast paced team. You will enjoy working with colleagues with a range of expertise, but especially our Research, Health and Inclusion teams.

You will ideally have experience of securing major gifts from both Trusts and Major Donors, but experience of Major Donors is of priority interest as this programme is less developed.
