  • Bede's Trust requires two professional and attentive individuals to join the Exams Department as an Invigilator at our Senior School.

    The successful candidate will oversee and supervise examinations to ensure that guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers and procedures are followed during examination sessions. .

    We are looking for two invigilators who are reliable, vigilant and can maintain security and confidentiality at all times, ensuring they are kept up to date with online invigilation training. They will be able to work well in a team and independently whilst possessing a calm and authoritative presence.

    Previous working history within a school environment is desirable.

    These are casual contracts, term time only, offering the hourly rates of:

    • Invigilator - £12.80 per hour plus holiday pay

    • Sole Invigilator - £13.48 per hour plus holiday pay

    A Sole Invigilator will be the reader and/or scribe of examinations held outside the main examinations hall and will be asked to complete the online Invigilator Module training.
