Forest School Lead

Pownall Hall School have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Forest School Practitioner/ Leader to join our magical setting, home to 8 acres of enriching grounds. You will deliver weekly sessions for children from 6 months old to year 6.

This role can be part-time, 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday) in a sole Forest School Leader role, or full-time working 2 days a week (Wednesday and Thursday) as a classroom based Teaching Assistant. The decision lies entirely with the successful candidate based on their preference.

The Role

Pownall Hall School have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Forest School Practitioner/Leader, qualified to Level 3 or above, to join our magical setting.

Hours: 21 hours per week during school hours worked over 3 days, term time only, working 36 weeks per year
Pro-rata Salary: £11,300-£16,000 depending on level of qualification and experience

Salary and addition duties for the full-time position can be discussed further at interview if of interest.

The ideal candidate will have experience within an educational setting with particular experience in outdoor learning. You will be working with children from 6 months old through to Year 6, planning and delivering a range of age appropriate activities for their weekly sessions.

Our dedicated Forest School area underwent an impressive upgrade last year, with all-weather canopies, built in fire pit and bench seating area.
