Advice Worker – initial 12 month FTC with the potential to be extended

We are looking for a welfare benefits adviser to join our small but experienced advice team to provide benefits advice and assistance to young people receiving support through Our Way Leeds.
The role requires excellent attention to detail, exceptional organisation and communication skills and the ability to maintain comprehensive, timely case notes.
This role is part of Young People’s Housing Related Support Service Our Way Leeds (OWL), delivered by a consortia of service providers. The consortia have GIPSIL as the lead provider alongside Inspire North & Turning Lives Around. OWL provides a wide range of interventions to prevent homelessness, four types of supported housing and pre and post-tenancy support schemes for young people & young people leaving care including unaccompanied asylum seeker children. Young people can be single, young families or couples.
