Swansea Carers Centre is a specialist voluntary organisation providing support to unpaid carers and former carers across the City & County of Swansea.
Swansea Carers Centre was the first Carers Centre in Wales to achieve the Carers Trust Excellence for Carers Award.

Swansea Carers Centre are seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join their strong and supportive board of trustees who steer and support the organisation.
As well as more general trustee roles they are particularly looking for somebody with financial skills / experience to be honorary treasurer.

Swansea Carers Centre is one of Wales' most established centres for the support of unpaid carers. Over the past few years, they have seen a significant increase in the services and projects they provide, an increase in the numbers of carers they engage with as well as an increase in the number of staff and volunteers.
Last year they moved to a new modern and carer friendly premises. They have also been successful in securing the tender for developing and delivering the first point of contact service for carers in Swansea, The Hwb.
If you want to make a different to lives of unpaid carers and have a few hours to spare each month to be part of a successful carers support service in Swansea, they would be delighted to hear from you.

Involve
