We work closely with Kids First Nurseries that are based within our trust grounds at Wansbeck, North Tyneside and Hexham hospitals to care for our Trust family's children, they offer care for children from 6 weeks old up to 4 years. Job overview
An opportunity has arisen has arisen for a Band 7 Specialty Clinical Educator to join Chief Clinical Information Officer Team (CCIO).
This is a new role funded to build capacity, confidence, and digital capability in the NMAHP workforce. The role will equip staff with the skills needed to navigate the pace of digital change, optimise use of clinical and non-clinical systems, and support leadership in delivering efficient, data-driven care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated clinician who can demonstrate the ability to lead, deliver training and motivate staff.
You will be a team player with established skills in communication. You will have the ability to engage with all members of the multi-disciplinary team. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, along with the ability to sensitively manage change.

Main duties of the job
Working as a core member of the team you will have responsibility for the delivery of accessible, relevant and innovative digital training and support for staff, beginning with those in clinical leadership roles, using a blended model of engagement from bite sized teaching to full day sessions, walkarounds, drop in sessions and digital life hacks. Your scope of work will include:
· Develop and deliver training for clinical leaders first, with roll-out to wider NMAHP teams.
· Co-design training modules and quick guides with end users.
· Identify and support digital champions in clinical areas.
· Offer process mapping support to enhance digital workflows.
· Address common queries and build capacity for self-help and peer learning.
You will be responsible for making regular assessments and recommendations based on these needs and guidelines.
You will act as a clinical and professional role model to maintain and develop exceptional standards of clinical care. You will promote and foster a culture of education and clinical development within the workforce. You will uphold high standards of practice development and clinical supervision.

Essential criteria
- Professional registration with NMC/HCPC/GPC (depending on the role advertised)
- Degree level of knowledge or equivalent level of knowledge and / or experience, supplemented by specialist knowledge relevant to the role to masters level or equivalent experience
- Registered mentor
- Post registration qualification relevant to specialty or equivalent experience
- Qualification in teaching, learning and assessing in clinical practice and significant experience of delivering training and education in the clinical setting
- IT skills to produce educational resources, reports and data
