The Parish of All Saints Four Oaks is seeking an Administrator, to contribute to our Church and Centre operations and to support us in our wider mission and ministry.

Purpose of Role
Working within the overall vision of the church, the key purpose of the Administrator is to:
- enable the mission and ministry of the churchandcentreby working with the Vicar, ministry team and church centre staff team and taking responsibility for the day-to-day administrative and organisational work.
- be a warm, welcoming, knowledgeable point of contact for all enquiries to the churchor centre(including room bookings, funerals, weddings and baptisms), in a professional and pastorally sensitive way.
- demonstrate a creative, organised, and competent approachby having experience and good up to date working knowledge of IT systems, websites and social media to support the church centre in effective communication both internally and externally.
General Conditions
Salary: £13,500 (£25,500 full-time equivalent), reviewed annually
Pension Contributions: Auto enrolment pension
Location: All Saints Four Oaks Church Centre, Belwell Lane, Four Oaks.
Hours of Duty:The post is offered on a part-time basis working 20 hours per week, 9.30am – 2pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Overtime is not paid but time off in lieu is provided. Lunch and other breaks are unpaid.
Annual Leave: The leave year runs from 1st January to 31st December, 28 days which includes Bank Holidays.
Contract: The employer is the PCC of All Saints Four Oaks. The post is permanent and subject to a six-month probationary period.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Working in an administrative role in a people focused busy environment.
- Organisation with exceptional levels of accuracy, time-keeping and attention to detail.
- Handling a variety of enquiries, in person and digitally, in a professional and sensitive manner.
- Efficiently using relevant IT systems including Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access, Publisher) and online databases.
- Developing the most effective communication systems with internal and external users and be an excellent communicator both written and verbally.
- Working in a team environment to achieve a shared vision.
- Relevant IT skills to enable the smooth running of all administration aspects of the church including cloud-based IT systems
- Data Protection policy and implementation.
The successful candidate will have the following personal abilities:

- High level of motivation to work well on their own without supervision.
- High levels of initiative and wise decision making.
- Energy and ability to cope with work peaks in a busy office and creativity to tackle problems as they arise.

- Be willing to ‘muck in’ when the pressure is on.
