Finance Officer
We are currently seeking a Finance Officer to join our friendly and supportive team.
Your primary role will be to process payroll for all employees in conjunction with our external payroll provider, along with other weekly and monthly tasks including invoicing, analysis, and reconciliation tasks.
Experience in finance is essential for this role. While prior payroll experience is welcomed, it is not required as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
• Process fortnightly payroll for approximately 200 employees, in conjunction with our external payroll provider.
• Ensure all staff are paid accurately and on time, in full compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
• Use our internal invoicing system and Sage 50 Accounts to create sales invoices and manage the sales ledger.
• Perform bank reconciliations, track balances, and report on any variances.
• Complete monthly Debtors Reconciliations, follow up on queries with relevant parties.
• Monthly Sales Ledger checks, including analysis of Supported Living and Rental income.
• Use Sage 50 to run reports and analysis of the monthly Restricted and Designated funds.
• Assist with ad hoc financial tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.
Salary £27,300 *pro rata if part-time*
Working hours: From 32.5 – 37.5 hours from Monday to Friday between 9am – 5pm (office based)
