About the role
To process all income and expenditure in accordance with internal processes of the Finance Department and support the rest of the Finance team.
Essential criteria- Accountable and responsible for allocated tasks
- Process and bank all income
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Monthly fundraising income reconciliation and posting for accounts system
- AR invoice posting, payment processing and supplier account management
- AR invoice posting, receipt processing and customer account management
- Provide day to day financial support to all areas of the organisation and provide information to budget holders when required
- Keep Gift Aid records up to date and ensure regular gift aid claims from Donor CRM system and Retail system are made
- Account for VAT accurately
- Process petty cash, credit card statements and other financial data
- Download and forward Lottery information as necessary
- Assist with other month end tasks as required and ensure other departments meet their financial deadlines
- Keep financial process notes up to date and are adhered to
- Account for VAT accurately and be knowledgeable in all aspects of Gift Aid
