A Co-Educational Independent Day School for Students aged 11-18 Head of Rowing Full-time We are looking for an individual with experience of coaching or rowing in high performance crews to lead our rowing programme and boat club. In this role, you will manage all rowing staff, write and implement a training programme for the senior squad, supervise adaptation of this for younger year groups, organise and lead training camps across the year, manage the boathouse and be responsible for safety and administration of the Boat Club and boathouse. This is a full-time role working 45 hours per week, with hours usually worked 09:30-18:00 Monday to Friday and 07:30-12:30 on Saturdays during term-time, with greater flexibility on how hours are worked during School holidays. About You The ideal candidate will be able to lead rowing at Blue Coat towards the next level in terms of participation and competitive success on the national rowing circuit; be a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to lead a team of coaches; be responsible for the strategic as well as day to day running of the Boat Club. It is essential that candidates hold a full valid driving licence and can tow a trailer. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable.
