Work at Stonyhurst

Stonyhurst is a special place to study but also to work. From its foundation in 1593, Stonyhurst has become the UK's leading co-educational Catholic boarding and day school for 3-18 year olds.

We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional, all-round education that enables each child to discover their talents. The capacity to engage children at many different levels is central to life at Stonyhurst and we offer countless opportunities across many different learning contexts both inside and outside the classroom. Central to our pupils success and happiness is our talented and committed staff body, who work with our children to achieve their goals and support them in whichever way this may be.

Stonyhurst is diverse in terms of the academic, cultural and sporting backgrounds of its children, and we celebrate this diversity.

Current Vacancies

Working with the pupils and staff at Stonyhurst is a privilege. The support from the staff community is overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. The pupils are a diverse mix of open and considerate young people who create a vibrant and caring atmosphere from the classroom to the boarding houses. They truly are a pleasure to teach.
