In this role, you’ll be helping the people we support build confidence and independence - whether that means lending a hand with everyday tasks at home, getting involved in new hobbies, or supporting him to explore work and volunteering opportunities.

If you're someone who enjoys making a real difference in someone's day-to-day life, we’d love to hear from you!

The role

You would be required to support Lucas, who is in his late 20s and lives in his own home in Muscliff. He communicates using PECS cards, but also uses signs and gestures to help him express his needs and preferences.

Lucas regularly visits the local farm as he loves to see the animals. He enjoys spending time in the park, where he particularly enjoys the swings or roundabout. He also likes to go out for drives whilst listening to music.

On rainy days, Lucas enjoys completing puzzles, which he can do in record time! He also enjoys watching TV, with Thomas the tank engine and Disney movies being his favourite.

As a valued member of our team, your role will involve a mix of meaningful support - from helping with daily routines like food preparation, shopping, and personal care, to accompanying the people we support as they access the community and pursue their interests. You may also assist with administering medication to ensure their wellbeing.

Hours:

This would be a mixture of shifts between 7am – 10pm, Monday – Sunday.

This role would include alternate weekends and sleep ins (sleep ins come with an additional payment)
