Physiotherapist
Leicestershire County Cricket Club (LCCC) is recruiting a HCPC registered Physiotherapist to join our Sports Science and Medicine Department. This is a 0.5FTE fixed term role based at the Upton Steel County Ground (LE2 8EB), with regular travel throughout the cricket season (April – October), including occasional overnight stays. The successful candidate would need to be adaptive, fulfilling physiotherapy duties across the Senior Men, Tier 2 Women and Academy Squads and report to the Head of Sports Science and Medicine.

About Physiotherapist
Main Duties:
• Fulfil the role of a chartered physiotherapist in the prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation of all injuries.
•Provide pitch-side physiotherapy cover for fixtures and training across professional men's, Tier 2 women and academy squads throughout the season.
•Manage all injury cases proactively, communicating clearly with coaching staff and wider MDT when required.
•Complete and maintain good clinical records using the Athlete Management System (AMS), sharing with other health professionals as required
•Collaborate with the Head of Sports Science and Medicine and Club Doctor to manage complex injuries using good evidence-based practice
•Assist with musculoskeletal screening and injury risk profiling to develop individualised preparation plans.
•Carry out other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the Head of Sports Science and Medicine / Lead physiotherapist.
