This exciting and rewarding role will provide you with significant scope for growth and innovation within a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.
The main purpose of this role is to provide excellent quality of care to those who use our service accessing treatment cross the Borough with a particular focus on Chem-sex and Club Drugs within the LGBTQ+ but not exclusively.
You will manage a caseload, coordinating and delivering assessments and evidence-based interventions (both brief and structured), as well as recovery and aftercare planning.
This role will be heavily focussed on building strong relationships with partnership agencies and will involve weekly satellite working, engaging with people outside of the New Beginnings service, for example at sexual health clinic.
The ServiceVia Brent, New Beginnings is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing psychosocial and clinical interventions in partnership with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL). The service is based across 2 hubs; Cobbold Road and the Willesden Centre for Health.
The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Brent residents. This post will be based at Cobbold Road with one day working satellite at Sexual Health Clinic in Brent.
