Dundee Museum of Transport
Full-time
26th October 2025

Dundee Museum of Transport is seeking a new Curator. This role is suited to someone looking to take the next step in their curatorial career, offering a unique opportunity to build on their expertise in collections care, museum accreditation, and project management. The Curator will be responsible for the care, conservation, and interpretation of the museum’s transportation collection, focusing on re-securing Accredited Museum status and coordinating the relocation of the museum’s collection to the newly renovated Maryfield Tram Depot site – a move that is expected to take place in early 2027.

This role combines hands-on collections management with the chance to lead a significant logistical project, providing valuable experience in both operational and strategic curatorial practices. While over twelve months away it is anticipated that the new postholder will have a primary focus on preparing for the Maryfield move from their arrival date.
