Location: Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and London Borough of Westminster
Please note the role requires frequent work in the community and also attending community events, partner meetings, site visits etc. Presence in the wards where the neighborhoods take place is key. There is flexibility to work from home and in the office to complete admin around community work.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Community Partners Engagement Coordinator to join the Change4Life Service to help support the delivery of the Neighbourhood Projects, place-based health initiative projects.
As a key member of our team, you will lead the development and delivery of neighbourhood-level initiatives that promote healthier lifestyles and improve wellbeing across identified wards. Your work will be rooted in community engagement, partnership building, and a deep understanding of local needs.
Main Responsibilities:
• Foster collaborative partnerships across local stakeholders, schools, early years settings, youth services, and community organisations to create a joined-up initiatives for healthy eating and physical activity.
• Mobilise and support local partners to co-design and deliver neighbourhood projects that enable more people to move more, eat well, and feel good.
• Be visible and present within the community, building trusted relationships and maintaining a strong local presence.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the locality, including community priorities, inequalities, assets, and local plans.
• Coordinate and manage projects from ideation through to delivery and completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Organise community engagement activities and consultations to inform project design and implementation.
• Integrate wider support and learning from the Change4Life programme and health promotion service offer into local delivery.
• Liaise with Public Health colleagues and other relevant Council teams to share community insights and sentiment, deliver local initiatives with the Councils’ support and keep abreast of local and borough changes.
• Monitor progress against intended outcomes, maintain accurate records, and contribute to project evaluation and continuous improvement.

• Experience working with children, young people, and families in diverse communities.
• Strong understanding of public health priorities and behaviour change strategies.
• Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships and engage stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and integrated working practices.

• Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service – Enhanced
