The Role

The  De La Warr Pavilion is seeking a flexible, energetic and hard

- working  Capital

Project  Communications  Manager

to  join  our busy  communications team

. This role

will co - ordinate, create

, deliver  and report on

 public facing

c ommunications

specific to the De La Warr Pavilion Capital Project, liaising with our partner

s at

Rother District Council

, Heart of  Sidley  and  external and internal

stakeholders.

 This

post will also be responsible for delivering

 the communications for

 public - facing

Capital Project

fundraising campaigns.

Summary of Post:

Working as a key member of the Communications team, the

Capital Project

Communications  Manager

  wil l manage  and co - ordinate the delivery and

evaluation of

 the c ommunication

plan to support our Capital Project

 and include

updates on progress and timelines.

The role will

 also  market  our  fundraising

campaigns t

o  b uild public awareness, excitement, and support for the

capital

project .

Main Responsibilities

•  T o support the Director of External Relations and Head of Marketing

to

implement a Capital Project communications plan that aligns with DLWP’s
Business Plan 2025

•  To co - ordinate  and deliver

 communication campaigns

 to grow, diversify and

engage audiences for DLWP’ s
excitement, and support for the project

pertaining to the Capital Project.

•  To co - ordinate

communications in a timely way

between key partners Rother District Council, Heart of Sidley and other

funders  to secure approval for communications

•  O versee the evaluation and

 regular  reporting of the Capital Project

to Rother

District  Council.

•  Work  across the  DLWP  F undraising and

•  Manage the Capital Project communications in a timely and strategic way.

(RDC), co - ordinating with them on key communications output.

NOTES

The minimum working week for the post is

24  hours . However, due to the nature of

the work, actual working hours may exceed this total and will involve some evening

and weekend work.

The post is  mainly  based at the Pavilion.

 October  2025 . It outlines the main duties of the

position and is designed for the benefit of both the post holder and the organisation
