Children and Young Adults Deputy Manager
About
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to support Kids Can Achieve Service across Harrow and Ealing, including delivery of weekend and holiday clubs.

What You’ll Do
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our weekend and holiday clubs, both at KCA (Harrow) and off-site venues in Ealing.
- Lead and supervise staff, including permanent and sessional special needs playworkers.
- Deliver engaging, varied, and inclusive activities for autistic children and young adults, those with learning disabilities, ADHD, and complex needs.
- Support staff in implementing Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and responding appropriately to distressed behaviours.
- Develop and implement person-centred support plans tailored to everyone.
- Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are always followed.
- Communicate professionally with families, schools, and other external professionals.
- Manage rotas and team hours, oversee session outcomes, and support Ofsted compliance.

You should have:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND (e.g. in childcare, education, youth work, or social care).
- At least one year of experience supervising or leading staff.
- Understanding of safeguarding, child development, and inclusive practices.
- A flexible approach to work, with availability for weekends and school holidays.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable – we are looking for someone happy to drive our minibus for trips and outings.
