Speedo Swim Squads in Dubai is seeking a Site Lead to join their team.

The Site Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the swim academy at their designated venue. They ensure the smooth execution of all scheduled lessons, maintain high customer service standards, and manage on-site staff and facilities to create a safe and welcoming environment for clients. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to efficiently handle multiple operational tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Coaching:
    • Lead by example by delivering high-quality swim teaching and coaching in accordance with the Swim Squads curriculum.
    • Cover all levels, including baby swim, learn-to-swim, early training, and competition training.
    • Provide additional non-swimming training and coaching as required (e.g., yoga, physical training).
  • Staff Supervision and Program Administration:
    • Supervise the venue’s team of swimming teachers and coaches, including planning and scheduling sessions and administering the venue's swimming program.
    • Build and maintain a robust team of swimming teachers and coaches to support class expansion.
    • Distribute schemes of work and timetables to the teaching staff before the start of each new term.
    • Conduct staff briefings before each teaching session to highlight key points, and ensure thorough debriefing and record-keeping after every class.
  • Customer Service and Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with parents to ensure exceptional customer service.
    • Handle and account for financial transactions with parents at the venue, ensuring all account details are accurately maintained in registers and the Club Management Software.
  • Collaborative Partnerships:
    • Work in partnership with the school PE department to support and deliver curriculum-based swimming lessons and school squads.
    • Maintain a positive working relationship with the venue’s facilities team.
  • Program Development and Administration:
    • Plan, deliver, and administer school holiday swim camps.
    • Support the organisation and administration of Speedo swimming meets as part of a team.
    • Ensure that the venue notice board is always up-to-date and visually appealing.
    • Send weekly reports to Management in a timely manner.
    • Perform any other duties as required by the Swim Director and Management.
