Merchant Taylors’ School, Liverpool Teacher of Classics - Maternity Cover, Full-Time, from January 2026 We are seeking to recruit an inspirational, enthusiastic and self-reflective Teacher of Classics to start employment in January. The role would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT. The role involves teaching Latin and Classical Civilisation to A Level. Competent IT skills are necessary since members of staff are each furnished with a Microsoft Surface Pro for use within and away from school and these can be used in tandem with smartboards in classrooms. There is an expectation that you will participate in and contribute to the co-curricular life of the School as a whole.
