Finance & Operations Co-ordinator
Karis Neighbour Scheme, Closing date: 8th October 2025
We are looking for someone with a grasp of financial reporting, both in terms of managing budgets and forecasts, and a confidence in interpreting other data such as reporting on our activities and impacts.
18 hours p.w. Part Time Salary: £14, 150.43 pa (£29,087 FTE)
Contract: Initially 12 months fixed term Location: Ladywood, Birmingham
The ideal candidate will also be able to find ways of communicating this information to a range of different audiences in a format that is easily accessible.
The Finance & Operations Co-ordinator is a varied role, ideally suited to someone with previous experience in a financial role, a good eye for figures, a grasp of data analysis and confident with IT, offering an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our team - utilising your skills to enable us to make a difference for the hundreds of people we’re supporting every week.
The role will also suit someone who is able to be supportive of our wider team, through key functions including payroll, pensions and policy reviews, but also more broadly being part of our supportive core team - working closely with our staff and volunteers to enable them to effectively fulfil their roles.
Karis Neighbour Scheme is a small and responsive charity, working with volunteers to run valued community projects. The projects aim to provide emotional, practical, befriending and advocacy support in a variety of different ways. Karis Neighbour Scheme also delivers a professional Listening and Guidance service, partly commissioned by the NHS.
