The role
This role leads on internal and digital communications at Royal Holloway Students’ Union, focusing on newsletters, email campaigns, website content, and internal-facing comms. Working closely with the marketing team and University communications, the postholder ensures messaging is clear, timely, engaging, and inclusive.
They will create content that strengthens RHSU’s brand, boosts engagement, and connects students and staff with the Union’s services, campaigns, and activities. By managing key communication channels, they help students make the most of their university experience and ensure staff stay informed.
The role is central to achieving RHSU’s strategic priorities by aligning messaging with the wider University, maintaining strong collaboration, and supporting organisational growth through impactful communications.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Grade and salary range: Grade 4, £28,568. Salary is subject to RHSU’s Pay & Reward Policy, which includes an opportunity for annual pay progression.
Work Location: Hybrid Working Policy in place with guiding principle of 60% office based (role dependent)
