UWC ISAK Japan is looking for an experienced and committed IB Chemistry Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department colleagues to design and deliver a student-centred curriculum
- Inspire students to see how learning connects to real-world applications and positive change
- Contribute to the ongoing development of departmental and whole-school programmes
- Participate fully in the life of the school, including mentoring, leadership, and community engagement
Mentoring & Co-Curricular Involvement
- Faculty are expected to play an active role in student life, including some or all of the following:
- Advisory or mentorship roles
- Coaching or supervising activities or sports
- Leading or supporting cultural, service, or outdoor programmes
- Contributing to residential life (residential duty may be an additional contractual offer)

Skills and preferred experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in the advertised subject
- Valid teaching credential for Grades 10–12 in the subject area
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred
- Experience teaching the IB Diploma Programme preferred
- Interest in or experience teaching Theory of Knowledge (TOK)
- Residential experience is highly valued
- Valid driver’s license
