Willingness to work evenings, weekends andpublic holidays.Computer literate.                                                                   Current full driving licence.                                                    Interest and enthusiasm for working creatively withlighting, AV and sound in theatre. Theatre Technician Role InformationContract The post of Theatre Technician is offered on a full time,permanent basis.Salary The salary for the post is £26,501 per annum.  Hours of Work The normal hours are 40 per week to be worked flexibly acrossMonday to Saturday in agreement with your manager. We will endeavour to schedule basic hours over 5 days wherepossible.  The role will require some evening and weekend hours.Any hours in addition to your normal hours are to be agreed inadvance.You will be required to work flexibly according to therequirements of the role and therefore your start and finish timesmay vary. The role will involve working flexibly to cover shifts atshort notice due to illness etc.Work Location The role will be based at the New Vic Theatre but may requiresome work at other venues and locations, typically but notspecific to, touring productions. Holiday Entitlement The holiday entitlement for this post is 20 days perannum plus bank holidays. The holiday year runs from 1April to 31 March. Probationary & Notice Period The probationary period for this post is 6 months.
