Location: Hybrid working between the Aldgate, London office and home.
A great opportunity has risen for a Social Media Officer to help grow our social media channels, allowing us to reach new audiences and engage them on the charity’s health advice, campaigning, research and fundraising work.
Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.
You will develop, curate and deliver engaging stories, to showcase the organisation’s people, services and impact, to help us change the world of lung health. Knowledge of storytelling and content creation is key, with hands-on experience of using Canva to create assets for all social media channels.
You will have the ability to work on short-term and long-term projects in a timely manner in order to meet deadlines. It is essential you are a good communicator with the ability to negotiate, influence, build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits including 30 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), membership of a health cash plan, employee assistance programme, cycle-to-work scheme, interest-free annual season Travelcard loan and pension scheme. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation committed to being the driving force behind the transformation of lung health.
