Funded from 2024 for three years by the National Lottery, YorChoice is a project which aims to provide access to young people to the appropriate support at the appropriate time, reducing the reliance on statutory mental health services. The project is designed to deliver two evening drop-ins per week as well as to develop Yormind, an online platform designed to help young people to navigate mental health services.
We are looking for an excellent project facilitator and outreach worker to support with the delivery of the drop-in sessions, to be a contact for young people accessing the service and to provide outreach and promotional work.
Location: Office (Highcliffe Court YO30 6BP) and community based | Organisation: York Mind
Salary: £24,425 per annum, pro rata until end of 2026 – extension subject to funding. | Job type: Part time | Hours: 28 hours per week, to include two evenings preferably.
