We’re looking for Support Managers to lead and shape our registered services supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.

In this pivotal role, you’ll inspire a dedicated team, uphold the highest standards of support and safeguarding, and work in close partnership with families and professionals to create a safe, empowering environment where every individual can thrive.

Why we think you’ll love this role

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re driven by purpose and committed to making a meaningful impact in adult social care. Every day brings the opportunity to lead with empathy, empower your team, and create a nurturing space where people with learning disabilities and complex needs are supported to live life to the fullest. With the autonomy to shape services, the backing of a passionate organisation, and the chance to build lasting relationships with families and professionals, this is more than a job, it’s a chance to lead change, inspire others, and leave a legacy.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Team Leaders and support workers, promoting wellbeing and professional growth
  • Oversee person-centred care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols, acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required
  • Foster a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment where every individual feels valued
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, supporting inspections and driving continuous improvement
  • Implement robust quality assurance systems and monitor performance to achieve outstanding outcomes
  • Manage budgets and resources efficiently to deliver value for money and operational excellence
  • Champion the voice and rights of adults with learning disabilities, ensuring their views shape the service
  • Build strong partnerships with families, carers, external agencies, and health professionals to support holistic care
  • Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in every aspect of delivery

What you’ll bring

We’re ideally looking for someone with:

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding, care planning, and regulatory compliance, including CQC standards
  • A person-centred approach that prioritises wellbeing, inclusion, and positive outcomes
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire staff teams
  • Excellent communication and partnership-building abilities with families, professionals, and external agencies
  • Confidence in managing budgets, resources, and operational systems to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and the rights of people with learning disabilities
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to lead through change and drive continuous improvement
  • A recognised qualification in nursing, social care, or leadership, and registration with relevant professional bodies (nursing qualification desirable)
