About the Role:
As a key member of the team, you will:
- Coordinate the daily cath lab list and ensure smooth workflow.
- Delegate tasks effectively to junior staff.
- Train and mentor junior nurses in both circulating and scrubbing roles for cath lab procedures.
- Respond confidently to challenges, including emergency procedures and primary PCI.

Main duties of the job
Main duties will include:
- Co-ordinating daily operating list, organising list and allocate nursing staff for different activities (lab, recovery, pre-assessment clinic.)
- Delegating and mentoring junior staff, supporting development of staff in progressing in their lab and recovery skills.
- Support ward manager in staff management ex: sickness management, performance management , recruitment and selection.
- Scrub and circulate in the lab for routine and complex procedure.
- Co-ordinate with bed management team and cardiology ward emergencies cases admission done in cath lab.

- NMC Registration
- Nursing Degree or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- Master degree
- Cardiac Care Course
- Management Courses (Ex: leadership courses, sickness management, recruitment and selection, appraisal)
Experience

- Cath Lab scrubbing and circulating
- Supporting training Junior staff for cath lab skills
Desirable criteria
- REACT training
- ILS/ALS

- Venipuncture and Cannulation

- Managing complex workload
