Exam Invigilators

Casual, hours as required

This is a wonderful opportunity for Exams Invigilators to join a flourishing boarding and day school, on a casual basis, set on an attractive 100-acre campus in a beautiful part of rural Surrey.

We are looking to appoint several Exam Invigilators to join our School community, to ensure the regulatory requirements for the conduct of examinations are met throughout the academic year. The ideal candidate will be punctual and well organised, an excellent communicator and a true team player. No specific examination experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Whilst the role is offered on a casual basis, hours can be discussed at interview and agreed with the successful candidates in advance and there will be an opportunity to work regularly during the School’s examination periods mainly November, February, May and June.

King Edward’s School is a co-educational boarding and day 11-18 school for some 480 pupils, around 25% of whom are full boarders. We are an HMC school and proud of our unique heritage and place among British co-educational independent schools.

In return, we offer a rewarding environment, as well as a number of notable benefits such as free school lunches, free on-site parking, use of our schools’ gym and pool facilities & competitive rates of pay.

To apply, please complete the Application Form or for further details, visit our website www.kesw.org or contact the HR Department on HR@KESW.ORG or telephone 01428 686739.

Closing date for applications: 12 noon, Friday, 3rd January 2026.  Interviews will take place week commencing the 12th January 2026.  The School reserves the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date, therefore early applications are recommended.

King Edward’s School Witley is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All successful applicants are required to complete an Enhanced disclosure through the DBS. Please refer to our websites or ask HR for our child protection and rehabilitation of offenders policy.  Shortlisted candidates will also be reviewed on social media/on-line platforms.  We particularly welcome applications from under-represented groups.
