Health and Safety Advisor

Location: Manchester

Salary: £29,500 + Benefits

An award-winning business support provider is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their Manchester-based advisory team. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of health and safety guidance, working directly with a wide variety of UK businesses to ensure legal compliance and promote safe working environments.

Key Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor will include:

  • To provide health and safety advice to clients across a range of sectors, including specialist areas
  • To deliver clear, practical advice through phone and email, assist clients with online systems, and make proactive service calls to enhance their safety performance
  • To liaise with external enforcement agencies on behalf of clients, when approved and requested by senior management, and contribute to technical resources and guidance materials

The Ideal Health and Safety Advisor will have:

  • A NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and relevant IOSH membership
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with a range of clients
