JOB DESCRIPTION

Part-Time Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I’m a 43 year-old woman living in Taffs Well. I have various health conditions, one of which is lymphoedema. I wear compression socks for this and need assistance putting them on.

I enjoy arts and crafts, movies, music and swimming.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

I’m looking to hire a personal assistant for home based duties.

PLACE OF WORK

At my home in Taffs Well.

HOURS OF WORK

12 hours 15 minutes per week to be worked throughout the week, times to be discussed at interview.

RATES OF PAY

£14.30 per hour

TASKS WILL INCLUDE

Assisting me with household duties including washing, dressing, cooking, changing bedding and taking the bins out
Putting on / taking off my compression stockings
Applying cream
Preparing meals
Washing up dishes
Changing the bedding as and when required
Taking out the bins

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

You must be trustworthy
Reliable and punctual
A person who is friendly
Someone with patience and who can take their time as I can’t be rushed

ABOUT THE JOB

This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.

All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.

Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.

Wages will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
