JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title Quality Assurance Coordinator Responsible to The CEO with quarterly reporting to Board Responsible for N/A Hours Contract Location Salary Full time, 35 hours per week Permanent Flexible – home based with site visits when required £30,000 p.a. 1. Organisational Context Quo Vadis Trust (QVT) is a specialist housing charity in South East London. We provide accommodation and support to adults living with mental health needs who require stable housing. QVT currently provides homes to approximately 200 people. Our range of support, both on and off the premises, helps each individual to maximise their independence. 2. Job Purpose The Quality Assurance Coordinator ensures that QVT is fully compliant with legislation, regulatory requirements and industry standards. The role coordinates compliance monitoring and quality assurance activities across the organisation and reports findings directly to the CEO, who in turn reports to the Board of Trustees. This structure ensures quality and compliance oversight at the highest governance level. Key areas of compliance include the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH), Homes England, the Charities Commission, and local authority commissioners. Reporting Line: Quality Assurance Coordinator → Chief Executive Officer → Board of Trustees This direct line ensures that regulatory compliance and quality assurance are embedded in organisational governance and decision-making 3. Main Responsibilities ➢ Coordinate and maintain QVT’s Quality Assurance framework across all services. ➢ Ensure ongoing organisational compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH), Homes England, the Charities Commission, and local authority commissioners. ➢ Draft and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect current regulatory and commissioning requirements. Charity reg: 1116196 Page 1 of 3 ➢ Conduct internal quality audits (both virtual and site-based) across QVT’s schemes and central services, including CQC-registered care homes. ➢ Prepare clear and timely reports for the CEO and Trustees following monitoring and audit activity. ➢ Share with the COO and Managers findings and make recommendations, supporting with implementation. ➢ Collect, review, and analyse operational data (e.g. incidents, safeguarding, complaints, accidents, on-call reports, etc.) to identify trends and areas for improvement. ➢ Follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective actions are completed and embedded. ➢ Support the CEO in preparing for external inspections, commissioner reviews, and regulatory reporting. ➢ Coordinate due diligence and quality checks for new service acquisitions. ➢ Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safeguarding, and accountability across QVT.
