Salary: £42,474 - £44,897

Manchester Diocese is looking to appoint a DAC Secretary to support our parishes as they care for and develop their church buildings. We are seeking a highly organised person with a strong understanding of policy and compliance to support the clergy and parish volunteers at the heart of our diocese. This role involves providing guidance on the care of church buildings and churchyards, faculty jurisdiction, and faculty applications.

The role is suited to candidates with a background in planning or policy functions, with experience in servicing formal committees. Prior knowledge of Church of England structures is not essential, but an interest in church buildings will help candidates to gain a better understanding of the role.
