The Role
The Marketing Assistant will support the delivery of effective marketing and communications
for Marymount International School London. This includes internal and external communications,
managing the School’s social media platforms, content creation, supporting events and maintaining
consistent brand identity through both print and digital channels.  A key focus of the role will be
strengthening internal communications to ensure customer satisfaction and engagement, and the
School’s presence across social media platforms.

The ideal candidate will combine strong organizational and administrative skills with a warm,
professional manner. You will be a capable all-rounder with an interest in marketing, good
attention to detail and confident IT skills, especially with social media platforms.

Marymount International School London is a welcoming and supportive place to work,
where staff are valued and encouraged to develop professionally.  This is a full-time,  year-
round position. Regular working hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with a 45-
minute unpaid lunch break.  Some flexibility will be required to support events and meet the
needs of the role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Content

  Schedule, post, and monitor content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  Assist with the creation and formatting of blogs, newsletters, and campaign content
  Caption and edit images/ videos for social media and internal communications
  Support the publication of website updates
  Track basic social media analytics and website engagement metrics, reporting trends to

the Marketing Executive

Internal Communications

  Collate, format, and distribute parent letters, newsletters, and internal updates
  Manage RSVPs and attendance tracking for events
  Assist with Yearbook workflow, including following up with staff and Heads of Year for

content and deadlines

  Co-ordinate approvals for internal and alumni communications

Campaign & Event Support

  Support content preparation for key events (e.g. overseas trips, alumnae events,

Graduation Day, Open Days)

  Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communications and

content flow

  Maintain calendars and deadlines for campaigns, internal communications, and content

delivery

  Assist with minor design/ print co-ordination for campaign materials and internal

collateral

The Person
Education and Qualifications

  Degree level candidate preferred but not essential if compensated by relevant experience
  Basic graphic design or video editing skills (desirable)
  Experience in a school or educational environment (desirable)

Skills & Experience

  Proven experience in social media management, digital content, or internal

communications

  Comfortable using social media management tools, CMS platforms, SharePoint, and

Microsoft Office Suite

  Excellent written and verbal and communication skills (English)
  Excellent attention to detail
  Good interpersonal skills to build relationships with parents, pupils and colleagues
  Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  Solutions focused with strong initiative
  Strong organisational skills
  Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines while remaining calm under pressure
  Pro-active, able to make suggestions for improvement and change
  Willing to learn new skills and take ownership of CPD
