Do you want to use your project management skills to make a real difference for dogs?

At Dogs Trust, our Project Management team delivers impactful business change and technical transformation projects. We’re now looking for an IT Project Manager to ensure these projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with our strategy and values.

Please note that we have two fixed term contract roles one 18 months and one 12 months.

What does this role do?

As a Project Manager you will:

  • Lead the definition, planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects with direct business impact, working collaboratively across all departments.
  • Ensure all projects follow Dogs Trust project management methodologies, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, costs, timescales, and resources, taking corrective action when needed to keep projects on track.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, and delivery teams, ensuring clear communication and measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor project performance against agreed objectives, success criteria, and ROI targets, evidencing value for money and effective delivery.

Could this be you?

You will be an experienced Project Manager with a proven record of delivering business transformation projects and driving business change. A skilled communicator, you’ll build strong relationships and have the confidence and influence to engage effectively at all levels. Motivated and proactive, you’ll be adaptable and resilient in a fast-moving environment, with proven planning, organisational, and time management skills that enable you to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

What does this team do?
