Senior Fire Safety Manager Berkshire (with global travel) Up to £75,000 plus excellent benefits

Irwin and Colton has partnered with a world leading hospitality company (a constituent of the FTSE-100), to recruit a new Senior Fire Safety Manager, a brand-new role to the team. This company has a large global footprint with over 6,000 sites and an additional 2,000+ in development-phase. This role has been created to lead the global fire safety strategy, ensuring the company's property portfolio remains resilient and ready for both staff and customers.

As part of their wider global safety team, this role will be the main point of contact and expert, partnering closely with Directors within the Safety and Security teams, Operations, and other stakeholders across the EMEAA region. The role will require the ability to influence the global fire strategy, leading on the implementation of risk-based fire safety controls and ensure consistent delivery of world-class fire safety that protects all members.

Responsibilities of the Senior Fire Safety Manager will include:

  • Set the strategy, as well as providing advice to ensure legal and policy compliance across fire safety requirements
  • Lead assurance and compliance processes, covering fire safety policies and standards, helping staff mitigate fire risks.
  • Actioning the results provided from fire safety audits, inspections, and track performance to ensure corrective actions are completed
  • Work with stakeholders and train staff to promote fire safety awareness and best practices.
  • Contributing to business-critical projects, including due diligence on emerging risk and acquisition reviews; embedding fire safety

The successful Senior Fire Safety Manager will have:

  • Diploma in Fire Safety / Fire Engineering and preferably membership of the IFE
  • Proven fire safety experience, within a similar environment (e.g. facilities management, hospitality, retail, property, or related background)
  • Extensive knowledge of ongoing changes to fire safety regulations
  • Excellent communications skills with proven experience of engaging with a range of stakeholders

The right candidate must be comfortable and able to do international travel as-and-when required.
