An exciting opportunity awaits to play a vital role in supporting and ministering to the vibrant community of St Saviour’s & St Olave’s School, a thriving secondary school for over 740 girls aged 11 to 18. Our students consistently achieve attainment and progress scores above the national average, reflecting their commitment and ambition. While we are proud of these outcomes, we are not complacent and therefore remain forward-looking and dedicated to continuous growth and improvement.

Our SIAMS report says the effectiveness of our school’s distinctive Christian vision, established and promoted by leadership at all levels, in enabling pupils to flourish is ‘Excellent’. The report also states that the Christian vision is implicitly persuasive throughout all aspects of school life leading to a hospitable, inclusive and welcoming Christian community where people feel cherished and supported.

The Chaplain at is responsible for the spiritual life of the school. They affirm and support the different faith communities which make up our diverse and dynamic school community by promoting students’ spiritual development, their growing sense of self, their unique potential, and their exploration of life’s fundamental questions. The Chaplain is actively involved in assembly planning and delivery, and is a very visible presence in school, supporting support staff, teachers and leaders alike, being there for all members of the community and supporting co-curricular work as appropriate.
