As our Group Financial Accountant, you’ll be the cornerstone of our financial reporting and compliance. You’ll lead the preparation of statutory accounts, manage group consolidations, and ensure our financial controls are robust and future-ready. This is a high-impact role that collaborates across departments to drive best practice and deliver a sector-leading Finance Centre of Excellence.

 

Day to Day (list not exhaustive see attached job description)

 

  • Prepare accurate and timely statutory financial reports in line with SORP and regulatory standards.
  • Lead group and subsidiary account consolidations, eliminating intercompany transactions.
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Implement audit recommendations and maintain internal control documentation (CRSA).
  • Submit key financial data to HMRC, ONS, CQC, and other statutory bodies.
  • Provide clear, insightful financial analysis to support decision-making across the organisation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting processes and systems.
