Sheffield Women's Aid (SWA) is one of Sheffield's Leading Domestic Abuse Charities. SWA believe that every woman and child has the right to live free from all forms of violence and abuse. We have been providing safety and support to hundreds of women and children since 1974.
As a Domestic Abuse Refuge Practitioner you will be part of the refuge support team, working alongside colleagues to offer practical and emotional support to women and children living in our safe accommodation; helping them to begin to recover from the trauma and abuse they have experienced and move forward in a safe and planned way.

An enthusiastic, confident woman looking for a new opportunity in a role that makes a real difference. Who will be able to demonstrate these skills and qualities:
SWA seeks to represent the communities we serve and actively welcome applications from Black and minority women, Eastern European women and women with lived experience of domestic abuse; also applicants with community language skills.
(Due to the nature of this role, SWA will only consider females/ women for these positions. This is in accordance with the provisions of the Equality Act 2010 (pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1) as a genuine occupational requirement).

Full Time
37.5 hours ( including shifts Monday to Friday from 08:30 - 16:30 and 11:00 - 19:00).
