Trinity College is seeking two proactive and highly organised team members to join our Works Department as Administration and Helpdesk Assistants. These pivotal roles support the smooth running of our facilities and construction operations, ensuring high standards of service delivery across the College.

About the role

As the first point of contact for all work-related requests, you will play a key role in coordinating maintenance activities, contractor visits, and departmental communications. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Works, Capital Projects Manager, Hard Services Manager, and Soft Services Manager, while helping to develop and manage our CAFM system (TABs) and other operational tools.

The role will be an essential part of the Works team which is responsible for the daily operation of the Trinity College estate. We serve around 1000 students, 190 Fellows and 360 staff, plus many thousands of visitors coming to Trinity each year.

You will need to have previous experience in a fast paced, multi-functional administrative role, providing customer and/or help desk services. Strong communication and organisational skills are key, together with an understanding of health and safety, ideally in a facilities context. Proficiency in MS Office and databases are important to this role.

Trinity College, Cambridge, is the largest of the 31 Cambridge Colleges and contains a substantial and intensively used group of buildings of considerable architectural distinction constructed over a period spanning some 600 years. The buildings house the living accommodation for students and Fellows, together with dining, recreational, studying and support facilities.
