Laundry Assistant - Job Ref 333
Location: Grove House, Ilkley
Hours: 16 per week

Being a Laundry Assistant…
The shift pattern for this role is.
Week 1 – Friday and Saturday, Sunday
Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
(7 days on 7 days off) Start and finish times to b discussed. Up to 16 hours per week
As part of the Domestic team you will follow infection control measures and COSHH in order maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the laundry facilities. You will provide a laundry service which includes the operating of commercial washers, drying and finishing machinery. Our resident’s health and well-being is always priority and as a domestic you will interact with them as you would a family member. Being flexible and adaptable to change is an important part of this role.
You will be reliable, trustworthy and hard-working as well as displaying our company values.

Being a Cook…
The shift pattern for this role is Thurs, Fri, Sat 9am to 6pm.
You will prepare wholesome, nutritional meals for a small group of residents always adhering to food safety legislation. Working on your own you will be responsible for all matters relevant to the efficient running of a small kitchen including some general housekeeping/domestic work. Our resident’s choices and dietary needs are priority, and you will pride yourself on providing fresh, delicious and well-presented meals. You will process paperwork and arrange food ordering so must be confident in using a computer.
You will be reliable, trustworthy and hard-working as well as displaying our company values.
A good command of spoken and written English is essential for this role
